Order of the Arrow - Tisquantum Lodge

If you are in the Squanto district of Old Colony Council, you are in Moswetuset Chapter. It is recommended that you (if this is the case) attend the Moswetuset Chapter Meetings (see schedule above). If you are your Troop’s “Order of the Arrow Troop Representative”, you should attend these meetings and then present the important facts of the chapter meeting to any of your troop members enlisted in the O/A (Order of the Arrow). Of course, these troop members should attend! Any one can come—including leaders. This year we hope for a fresh start—and we hope to lionize the chapter! Many things are going to change this year in the chapter—you will not want to miss a single meeting. We wish to increase drastically the number of Brothers (of any rank) in attendance at each meeting. We also have hopes of beginning a chapter drum team, as well as a ceremonies team. Soon to come this year is the first annual chapter camping trip, and perhaps even field trips during chapter meetings. Duties Chapter Chief’s duties are to (basically) run the chapter meeting. He plans the meeting and carries out that plan, as well as attending the lodge executive board meeting and presenting the Meeting Minutes, created by the Secretary (see below). If at any time the Chapter Chief cannot attend a meeting, whether of the chapter or lodge, the Chapter Vice Chief is there to take his place. The Chapter Vice Chief is also there to assist the Chapter Chief with anything. The Chapter Secretary simply makes an account of the chapter’s meeting, called the Meeting Minutes
